The horse chestnut in front of the main entrance of the villa is one of the oldest examples of this elegant garden.
In the 1970s, the municipal administration of Pordenone bought the garden and the villa, and then began redeveloping the Green Zone for use as a public park. The villa was finally restored and expanded, becoming a public exhibition dedicated to art.
The structure is also home to the PAFF! (Palazzo Arti Fumetto Friuli!) An open space across all graphic and creative arts in general, from design to cinema. An artistic, cultural and even educational and professional center that interacts with schools, universities and the business world.
