  Planty - a district located in the center of Radom

   near the train station, built in 1950-72 (as a supplement to the housing estate from 1923-26, built according to the design of Stefan Szyller). The main part of the district lies on the course of the former Southern Stream (currently this stream is stuck and flows beneath the surface of the earth) and the Mariacki farm (which was still church property in the 18th century). The most interesting building complexes in the Planty area were created in the interwar years in connection with the construction of the National Arms Factory. The main residential buildings of the district are four and five-storey blocks, as well as four eight-storey blocks and two eleven-storey blocks. The estate has one kindergarten, two primary schools (No. 28 and No. 32), IV LO Tytus Chałubiński and Construction Schools Complex. At Planty 39/45 street, there was the building of the Statistical Office in Warsaw (branch in Radom),
