A garden for everyone
The area of Mount Lignano is defined as a natural, mainly wooded area, of natural nature and prominent landscapes, evolving on both opposite sides, first facing south towards Valdichiana and the other heading north, and deteriorating towards the fracture of Gagnon.
Within this area is the Lignano Municipal Park, which covers an area of about 300 hectares. Established in the 1970s, The Park is a fascinating reality open to all, where different kinds of recreational, sports and cultural activities can be carried out.
In particular, the park has become a reference point for hikers and lovers of natural tourism; in fact, many trails cross the slopes of the mountain, offering unique panoramic images and the possibility to admire the main inscriptions in the surrounding area and see the region's rich animals.
