    It is the largest green area in the city

    Located on the road to Trani, it rises in what was once a completely barren area called "La Specchia".

    Here, at the end of the 19th century, some city-specific events were held, including the famous horse races. This competition field was called "Lo Steccato", the distinctive name that always distinguished this place for citizenship, before the final dedication of Mayor Giuseppe Marano, the post-war official who created a large communal villa in this place, called "Largo Torneo" "".

    The original design scheme, which consisted of long walking routes, with vast flower beds with countless ornamental plants, play areas and sports areas, followed a deep intervention for healing officially returned on June 2, 2013 to the city's lung equipped, more welcoming and functional.

    The four new routes were named to reach as many mayors and politicians who brought the place to the city: Senator Onofrio Januzi, Mr. Leonardantonio Sforza, and Dot Giuseppe Colasanto and Hun. Consalvo Sese.
