In the early 1980s, an urban redevelopment project was opened as a park, after being used as a powder magazine until World War II.
They are fenced, open and closed according to times determined by the municipal control. Its total area is about 150,000 square meters. Of which 100,000 square meters to the grass.
The park is equipped with health services with a large quantity and length of trails and paths within the wooded area that can be traveled by foot or mountain bike, three water fountains and a series of information boards that provide news about the natural characteristics of the park (animals and pine forests).
