In 1889, at the initiative of Dr. Henry Jordan, a park was established in the Black Forest area at the site of the former agro-industrial exhibition organized two years ago. The park was operated in the middle of 1888 by the director of the city gardens - Boleslaw Maliki. After organizing the Uri Mountains, planting trees and shrubs and creating wooden pavilions, a new park was opened in Krakow with playgrounds, sports equipment and sports fields.
The park was originally accessed via a bridge on Ciepła Woda. There was a wooden gate with the inscription: "Dr. Jordan City Park". Moreover, there were dairy products Eulina Dobrzyska, where visitors were offered milk, and behind the dairy in the establishment there was a long gymnastics pavilion with a spacious hall and veranda. Exercise was performed there only in summer, while in winter they were trained in a warm room in the Franciscan Monastery. Outstanding gymnasts received savings books from Henry Jordan with the contribution of 5 guilders. Opposite the gymnastics pavilion, the orchestra performed on the gazebo. The small wooden house has a storage room for sports and gardening equipment. To the right of the entrance, a "labyrinth" was created for children, called "snail", which consists of tangled paths.
