This sub-section of Torrione di San Giovanni, home of the Jazz Club of Ferrara, begins first to the west and then again to the south, and ends at the Porta Mare barriers, making it the longest stretch outside the walls of Ferrara.
It takes its name from Porta degli Angeli and runs along the outer perimeter of Addizione Erculea.
You can observe the various semicircular strongholds of this special fortified stretch and in the northern section you can enjoy the shade of many tree species planted for decades.
In the early 1970s, there was Robinson Park, a kind of green recreation area for children, born in Copenhagen in 1943 by Professor Sorsen in Emdrup. They have built some play structures with waste materials, and since then many of these parks have been built, including the Ferrara Gardens.
