The Duke's Garden, known as the "delle Duchesse", was built between 1473 and 1481 as part of the construction transformations commissioned by Ercole I d'Este, who carried out the current plan of the Ducal Palace.
The garden is described as beautiful water surrounded by a golden fountain, surrounded by beautiful galleries, an exclusive green space frequented by the Duke and the Court. Thanks to the skill of the famous Este Park, the magnificent trunk beds in this place absorbed the most creative geometrical forms to honor Topiari, while fruit trees, medicinal plants and ornamentation were adorned with exquisite cannabis.
