One of the largest urban parks in Italy
It connects three areas in the city of Salerno: Mariconda, Mercatello and Quartier Europa. The small river that flows through it, the Rock Garden, containing the cactus plants of the Acquaviva Foundation, the artificial lake and the canal are among the most characteristic places. A large area has been dedicated to recreational initiatives, and the kiosk bar recovers many gardeners throughout the year.
The vast and varied green area is divided into four "thematic" sectors based on the different tree species planted: the "natural area", along the Mercatello torrent and around the pond; Remains of the old agricultural plant in the area;
