One of the gardens of Lleida
The origin of the park goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, with the construction of a system of ponds (two large deposits of some 8,400 m2 of surface and another of about 2,000 m2) that are found out of the channel of Pinyana , from the reservoir of Santa Anna (in the Aragonese municipality of Castillonroi), in order to guarantee the water reserves of the city.
