    Rosengarten in Salzgitter

At Salzgitter Bad, the staircase wing of the Rose Garden opened in autumn 2009 within the traditional island.

The patron, Lord Mayor of Frank Frankling, was one of the keynote speakers and President of the Civil Society Joachim Sivers.

Nearly two years ago, the association called for community donations to Gradipavillon. About 400 citizens answered this call. More than 100,000 euros can be booked. The engagement was enormous. From the large donation (10,000 euros) to the Salzgitter Community Foundation, individual donations to private persons exceeding several thousand euros amounted to small amounts of euros according to Citizen Association data all that way.

Work has begun on the renovation of the pipeline system on the salt water pipeline, a civil engineering project that preceded the actual construction of the grading pavilion. This created an important precondition for later wood scaffolding with wood brush packs. After that, the wing can be built above the source.

A Gradierpavillon is a salt production plant. It consists of a wooden scaffold, firmly filled with brush wood (mainly black blisters); the salinity of the salt water experienced by the natural evaporation of water increases. Thus the functional principle is similar to the principle of saline. The 25-percent natural thermal lake of Salzgitter is one of the strongest lakes in Central Europe, which was mentioned in 1125 in a document.
