Karol Wojtyla Urban Park is located in the city center, close to the main railway and arteries of the city. It is bordered by the entire north side of the Lorenzo Skeletani road and on the other side via Celestino Galliani; the main entrance opens onto Piazza Cavour. Rectangular, the garden extends to about 1000 meters long and more than 50 meters long; it is fully flat except for the eastern region, known as Boschetto, which can be reached by stairs covering a height of 5-6 meters. Fully closed, accessible during public working hours. It is owned by the Municipality of Foggia and protected by an archaeological association under Law 1089 / '39 (referring to the vicinity of the former racetrack, occupied by a well-established Neolithic village).
