The Park of Terramaini is one of the green areas of Cagliari in the Berri municipality.
The garden is fully covered with large greenery surrounded by shrubs of Mediterranean scrub and its jewels, such as juniper and straw, strawberry tree, rosemary, shrubs, and other small shrubs. The garden is sunny, ideal for those who want to look for some sunshine during the cold seasons, but there are still plenty of spacious spaces away from the sun. There are large picnic tables and benches here, while the concrete paths inside the garden allow for jogging activities, thanks to which their flat stretch, lends itself nicely. . Along the tracks there are tools for physical activity with relative suggestions for performing exercises and stretching properly. Next to the garden, there is an Olympic swimming pool in Terramaini, a very important structure for swimming-related sports activities.
In the northern part of Terramaini Park, there is a large pond with many aquatic species, including a very small colony of flamingos and other birds. High reeds harbor the lake and its guests from the rest of the garden, making it a protected place. Thanks to the beautiful wooden boardwalk, the lake can be crossed from one end to the other. Another very important and popular area in the park is the dog area. In this area, it is actually possible to bring your four-legged friends and leave them free to run and play, and communicate with other dogs in complete safety, given that the area is well defined by a high network with a connected barrier.
Inevitable along the park, carob trees and long palm trees, as well as refreshment points and children's play areas, with slides, small houses, swing, rocking horses, and two fitted dishes. There is also a pizzeria open all year, while the large shopping center is just a few steps outside the garden.
