About Park

  • Preview

    A fascinating and unusual place

The park is a treed area of approximately three hectares, which extends over two levels, from boulevard Saint-Denis to the Quai du Maréchal-Joffre. It houses the Roybet Fould Museum leaning against the Sweden-Norway pavilion of the 1878 World Fair, as well as the East Indies Pavilion of the same exhibition, an orangery and a green theater. Inside the park, at the quay level is the pediment of the Charras barracks, listed as a historical monument. The park offers many children's playgrounds such as two sandboxes, slides, 3 table tennis table and a basketball court2, a carousel and a food service point among others.
