Marmirolo oasis was born from the restoration of a reservoir originated by mud extraction to produce bricks. Today, Oasis, which is of particular aesthetic and natural interest, is managed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), which ensures the opening of Pablico and the presence of expert staff for guided tours. The visit takes about an hour and takes place along a circular path around the two pools. On the banks of the lake there, in addition to cane, willow, trees and old elm grass. But birds in different species attract visitors' attention. The gray heron is visible throughout the year. It is possible to stop inside the three cottages to see it and visitors center for a brief introduction to the history of the oasis.
