Campo di Marte II consists of two sections separated by the Reggio-Scandiano railway line. It stands on a former state-owned area and is used for military exercises. The western part was built in the early 1980s, where it cultivated many gems to create a kind of central green area characterized by large patches of trees and shrubs submerged in large tracts of meadows. The eastern sector, adjacent to Elsa Moranti Primary School, is characterized by wooded areas, isolated samples and tree patches. So far, the railway tunnel, which connects two parts of the park, and the planned pond to build a green zone, has not been built. A site for many cultural events, especially in the summer. The wooden house, the home of the self-management group, features services and a refreshing point.
