Designed and founded by Father Aurelio Cannizaro, born in Palmy, the first missionary in the islands of Mentaway (Indonesia) is currently administered by a group of parents who are members of the Saint Francis Xavier Religious Association of Foreign Missions (Xaverian Fathers). It is a very unique park, with great cultural and religious significance, built using the most diverse materials from the demolition areas of Reggio, with stunning imagination and creativity. It is, in fact, also relevant to tourism and from a spiritual point of view.
Mondiali Park evolves around the sanctuary of the Gallico Superiore, rich in pleasant corners for rest, with pools and fountains.
Entry There are signs that determine the nature, date and purpose of the park on the subject of human brotherhood. In addition, there are concrete structures representing the great cultures and religions of the peoples of the earth: a Greek theater, capable of accommodating 800 (with summer cultural events). An Arab home representing Islamic culture and religion. African Tocole for African Cultures and Religions. A pyramid of great ancient cultures. Candlestick of 7 branches (Menorah) of the Jewish religion and a temple of Asian cultures and religions. In the center there is the cave of the cradle (the people's bed).
Along the path of salvation, Christ's presence and mission continue in the world. On the left side of the street are large rocks with bronze plates on Via Crucis. The appearance of Cyrene is the founder of the park: P. Cannizzaro. With an extraordinary scenic effect, at the top of the road in the rise (Mount Skull) depicts the cross and religious women.
