  A great place for the whole family to enjoy

  The "Amendola" park is an intervention that better explains policies on green standards set in the planning tools center from the 1965 Plan. Implementation has been ongoing since 1972, and implementation continues in various formats until the early 1980s, at the work of Consorzio Coopruative Costruzioni in Bologna for construction and the company Claudio Galli of Modena for green works. The winning project, which has yet to be fully realized, is a large area in the heart of urban expansion south of the city. The garden is metaphorically located on the banks of the rivers, and is characterized by a green area cut by two lakes and rows of hills arranged along the east and west, in the absence of walls, to protect houses and nearby roads. The park seeks to separate from its surroundings, without exception the possibility of continuity, especially with schools and sports facilities along the eastern border. Then some functions are planned for the entire city, such as the zoo and the fun show. Along with the value of urban development outages, this large green area is conceived as a place where human experiences are produced directly with natural shapes designed.
  There are no signs of a classic landscape approach; rather, the objects associated with each other, such as cone hills, are designed to be places of refuge and "isolation", or concrete cylinders, whose shape tends to rest as well as to the game. The same value is attributed to other equipment in the park, such as a solar projector made of red metal tubes, which sets the night hours by dropping the light, to simulate the crown of the tree that transforms daylight into the shade of the sun. The main part of the project and the main interest of authors' research is the theme of vegetation, mostly of oak and conifers, and studied the aspects of the landscape and the formal proposals it offers. The size of trees and hedges in the project is suitable for opening spaces, to promoter, in order to create a harmonious environment. In addition, the concrete slabs that reach the various points of contact in the park follow the main plots of tree rows. Separated from each other, making the green penetrate the interstitial spaces, thereby redefining the boundaries of the panels and making them appear as stones emerging from the earth.
