The garden is composed of a regular garden (also called "French garden"), a rose garden, small climatic gardens, an orangery and tropical greenhouses. The cultivation of orange trees is part of the Orleans tradition, because of the mild climate of the Loire Valley.
A work of the French sculptor Charles Dupaty representing Cadmos, figure of the Greek mythology, fighting the snake, is arranged on the lawn. A sculpture of a kneeling woman is in the rose garden.
The garden offers games for children and various events.
