A wooded and flowery garden with benches and fountain
This park has existed since 1818 and owes its name to its vocation of production. According to a convention of 1860, the departmental nursery confided the ground to the City provided to supply the trees intended for the roads of the department and to open it to the public. The nursery once stretched from the police station to the Mediterranean Square. To see: the nursery, renovated from 1978 to 1979, occupies today only 10% of its original surface, a pleasure for the eyes not to be missed during "the summer of St. Martin" when the park is adorned with its beautiful autumn colors. American oaks, Liquidambars and other species then recreate a kind of Indian summer.
