The design was carried out by Petitot
The current design of the park dates back to 1770, the year in which Gianbattista Guatteri was created. The buildings, which were executed on a design by Petitot, were completed only in 1793.
The central part of the greenhouses maintains the appearance of an Italian garden as in the 18th century project.
In the eastern part, the nursery was built between the 18th and 19th centuries, while the garden was rebuilt in the western part according to English fashion.
In the Botanical Garden precious herbs and some work tools are preserved by Gianbattista Guatteri, Giorgio Jan and Giovanni Passerini.
Among the existing groups, along with succulent, insect and aquatic plants, groups of bonsai, Pelargonium, and plant and ancient flowers have been added recently.
