AmbienteSocial enterprise park is a scientific center dedicated to environmental sustainability, located within the Parco dell'Acqua, a public park in the historic center of Brescia. Includes exhibition pavilions, a green area with free access with games, and a Bellago with a tunnel under the river, rich in flora and fauna (fish, turtles and seasoning birds).
Since December 2009, the park area has been reopened with a major refurbishment and has been entrusted with the management of buildings and exhibitions (planning, construction, management) to AmbienteParco Impresa Sociale, a non-profit organization.
There are six interactive modes (Natur.Acqua, Alimenti.amo, 4R, Casa Eco.logica, Filo.Conduttore, Mate.Land), distributed between buildings and exterior. All areas are designed and constructed to inform, interest and raise awareness of scientific and environmental issues.
The content is characterized by scientific accuracy and high cultural and educational value. Direct discovery and experimentation has become a collective experience, thanks to the tactile displays, the practicality and the presence of cartoonists who accompany, encourage and motivate visitors to dialogue and participation.
Educational and informative settings are a combination of play and learning, suitable for an audience of all ages: early childhood, children, teens, university students and families.
