Located across Sant'Andrea a Rovezzano 5, between the Arno River and the direct rail leading to Rome. The winged horse Pegaso, the symbol of the Tuscany region, is famous.
History and description
After countless exhibitions and awards, the artist comes to mind to create a garden for his sculptures, where in 1990 he set up a permanent exhibition of works in his own garden in Cetiniano.
In 2001, the availability of 23,900 square meters of land, confined between the river and the railway, allowed him to relaunch his project in a large way. From the field of fallow, within three and a half years, the garden is covered through a garden where more than two hundred works of art are placed. The work is done with a night lighting system, making it visible from trains and passing cars.
In addition, about 300 cypress trees are planted everywhere, which see from the top forming an unusual pattern for a smiling and plump face.
Finally, there are works by other artists, such as Marcelo Gasti and Soro Cavalini.
After the death of the artist Enzo Pazzagli, the park is run by the EcoRinascimento Association, through which new works such as Massimiliano Silvestri's photoelectric flowers and parody of Viareggio have been added.
