This park was landscaped by the city in the garden of the old property of Jaquet. The great Mulhouse industrialists of the nineteenth century accorded particular importance to parks and gardens. This was also the case of the Jaquet family. We can discover at the back of the villa Jaquet a garden representative of what was done in the nineteenth century, with the species that we preferred then: purple beech, chestnut ... Also note the only chestnut existing in a Mulhouse park .
