Located in Parque de María Luisa, Plaza de America is surrounded by the Neomudéjar Folk Museum to the north, the Archaeological Museum (in the Renaissance style) to the south, and the Royal Pavilion (Gothic style) to the east.
These three buildings were built by architect Anibal Gonzalez between 1913 and 1916 for the future Ibero-American exhibition in 1929, each with a different architectural style. They are also part of the Miguel de Cervantes roundabout, decorated with ceramic works that refer to the most famous, such as Rodriguez Marin.
