The Villa Gruber De Mari was built by the Maro noble family of De Mari in the second half of the 16th century in the suburban area between Sant'Anna and San Rocchino, which connects the city center with the new walls in the Castelletto district of Genoa, Italy.
The villa has a guard tower from the 16th century and a special church from the 17th century, now the church of Santa Maria della Sanita. The villa is located in a panoramic location within a large park, which was opened to the public after the Genoa municipality got the villa in the 20th century.
