Recently the area became known as the place where Salvatore Reina was thought to have lived, [1]. The area is owned by the Sicilian region and entrusted to the Forest Service; [2] The region also planned to establish a management center, where all of its existing offices will be collected throughout the city. [3]
Beginning in 2010, following a common initiative, an urban variable was requested to create a park, a variable obtained after a set of signatures. In January 2012, work was initiated on projects formulated by graduate students from the University and thanks to the contribution of the new Association of Volunteers, which was organized for this occasion and which initially organized guided tours to spread the garden. [4] The park was opened on 15 October of the same year and since then the administration has become fully responsible for the association. [5] [6] The park was built in the absolute economy at an estimated cost of 100 thousand euros. The work was carried out for free by volunteers from Parco Uditore.
