The garden stretches from the shadows of Monte Pellegrino to the Pallavicino district. Two long streets (named Hercules and Diana) cross parallel to the park, linking the center of Palermo to the coastal area of Mundillo. The streets are intertwined with a third road called Pomona.
Located within (or near) the park are many important places such as the Palazzina Cinese (with the Museo Etnografico Siciliano Giuseppe Pitrè attached), the precious Villa Nisscemi, the new Neerclassical Fountain of Hercules, Renzo Barbera Stadium and other sports facilities.
