"Dora Park" is a post-industrial urban park located in Turin, near the historic city center. The heart of the so-called "Spine 3", a huge area of more than 1 million square meters, where the major factories such as Fiat Ferrer, Michelin, Saviliano and Barchi have settled and benefited from proximity to the river and railways. The entire park, covering an area of 456,000 square meters
takes its name from the River Doria Riberia which crosses the area from west to east. The surrounding suburbs, such as San Donato, Campidoglio in the south, Lucento and Madonna di Campagna in the north, became the center of the fourth category in Turin. The whole area is organized by the Urban Rehabilitation Program, approved in 1998, which included public and private resources.
