The area along Heulebeek in Kuurne, about 2 hectares, is a remnant of wetland soil that has been used as pastures and meadows since ancient times.
The 700-meter hiking trail passes through the area. Especially the victory and the environment of the swimmers have great biological value. The management aims, among other things, to keep a few open spaces in the forest to maintain the vegetation of the former wet meadows
