Relax and unwind in this landscaped garden

An idyllic park in Jena that invites you to linger and relax. The approximately 3-acre park in Jena-Drackendorf was created in the second half of the 19th century as an English landscape garden.
Especially striking for the Goethe Park are two huge oak trees, a copper beech and a teahouse built on the grounds. The park was initiated by Freiherr von Ziegesar, whose daughter maintained a friendship with Goethe. The plans for such a park should have come from Goethe personally.
