A 22.3 hectare large nature reserve
The area is structured in a small space, there are many different biotope types in a small space next to each other. There are four major still waters (former excavation waters), rock faces, vegetation-free screes and surrounding forest areas that provide a habitat for various plant and animal species. Special species of flora and fauna that occur in the nature reserve include grass snake, sand lizard, kingfisher, bats (several species) and sand bees (Andrena species), as well as centaury, finial and crab claw.
