The Pfühlpark is located in Heilbronn East along the city rail line to Oringen. It is the oldest Heilbronn park, and one counts the park around the castle on the Trappensee water it. The origins of Pfühlparks date back to the year 1575, when the foundation stone was laid for Trappenseeschlösschen Mayor Philip Orth.
The castle is located on a small island in the middle of Lake Trap. Named after Johann Bernard Terrap, who purchased 1653 sites, 9.3 ha was created Pfühlpark as a result of a design competition for the 1934 gardening exhibition 500 meters west of Lake Trap.
Sports and leisure activities
The Pfühlpark is one of the most accredited parks. Road Richard Baker separates the eastern part with Pfühlsee from the remaining part. The core of the West Parks comprise two playhouses and wide meadows, where Pfühlbach runs. With a large children's sand playground, a giant slide and a large climbing grid for older children and table tennis for sports lovers of Pfühlpark provides ideal recreational opportunities for families.
renewal
In 1996, the entire park was renovated in Trappensee. About 2.5 million euros have been invested to bring the needs of the population in an attractive garden with the requirements of the environment and maintain it in line. To improve water quality in the lakes, scooped huge amounts of mud, remove artificial dams, flatten their banks and create new shallow water areas. Pfühlbach was rehabilitated.
The main attraction of Pfühlsee is a 35-meter wide wooden deck from which the lake is completely to be surveyed along with plants, animals and animals not disturbed in the areas of their retreat on the south bank since the remodeling.
