The forest has mainly mixed forest character, common tree species are spruce, pine, European beech, hornbeam, pedunculate oak, red oak, sycamore, birch and alder. Bird species: Cabbage, blue, marsh, fir and long-tailed tit, winter and summer gilt, nuthatch, tawny owl, great spotted woodpecker, chaffinch, blackbird, robin, wren, zilpzalp, marsh warbler, jay and carrion crow. In mammals, deer and squirrels can often be observed.
