Gutespark Groß Glienicke is a natural park originally belonging to the Groß Glienicke palace at the northern end of the Groß Glienicker See. The palace belongs to many noble families Margarev. After the rapid change of property owner in 1375 to 1927 the palace was finally burned in the fall of 1945.
The park's design was based on topographical conditions: a continuation of the melting glacier channel, where the Great Glennaker Lake is located, the large pond was created with an island, while the western and eastern areas of the park are slightly elevated.
Until the postwar period, the park was clearly preserved. Because of the delineation of the estate was cut off part of "West" and "East." The establishment of the "death sector" after 1961 along the border led to the partial destruction of the park.
Today, the value of the park, through the presence of many trees from the time of origin, is also highly valued. They are supported in terms of importance by the presence of elements of basic equipment such as the staff building, well, burial ground, remnants of bridge construction parts, discoverable pathway system, pool with the island, Potsdam Tor, former Gotskindergarten, and harvesting barracks. The garden is important for gardening, as it still reflects the representative aspirations of upper middle class families in the countryside and also the design of a very high quality garden in the second half of the 19th century. Due to the many years of Ribbeck family activity from 1572 to 1788 and another royal family in Wollank, the former palace also has a special regional and local historical significance.
