With more than 100 events, Volkspark offers itself as an open-air outdoor venue all year round, with plenty to offer: landmark cultural landmarks, exciting facts and authorities, fireworks, exciting children's shows and medieval spectacles.
The classics of Volkswagen Park, such as the Potsdam Symphony and the International Kite Festival, are now firmly on Potsdam's agenda and renew its fan base each year.
Seasonal festivals such as "Easter Fire", "Autumn Festival" or "St. Martin" are a series of events, such as the Sunday Workshop and the Green Break complete a family-oriented program.
Another prominent point in Volkspark is the "Green Classroom" environmental education program, which is offered daily for school classes and after school groups from March to December.
Green diversity
Watch the changing seasons ... Volkspark Potsdam is a thriving park in all seasons. In April, thousands of Tulips lit up the garden, and daffodils drowned the wall slopes in a spring-spring dress. After the spring messengers, the early summer pyramid gardens dazzle with lush trees and purple sea.
The most important annual event is the summer queen boom at the beginning of June - more than 10,000 roses are released in the garden. July revolves around the lavender Provençal, which gathers a piece of France in the park each year before the Dalia family comes to Remissenpark with its colorful colors. In the autumn, wild wine glows red on the slopes of the wall and gives a wonderful view at the end of the gardening season.
