A popular leisure destination for every age group
The varied green spaces in the park there were two large playgrounds, a sun terrace and a pond; the rooms of the former Villa Topf were used as a cultural meeting place for leisure activities: it was painted, tinkered, discussed and sometimes danced wildly at concerts or celebrations. A small restaurant invited to linger and the edge of the park adorned the oldest allotment Erfurt. Despite this intensive use, there was always a rich flora and fauna in the park - oriole, nightingales and little owls found their home here.
