During the construction of the 4-hectare Drägerpark on the site, the square on Marly with 1.3 hectares, where the original structure in the approach remained recognizable, including the terrace space on the Marlistraße.
The trees on the sloping terrain sides were expanded with ornamental trees and undergrowth and daffodils planted on the hillside.
The design for the transformation into the Drägerpark is based on the establishment of walking paths, playing lawns and a large playground. The sloping terrain is used as a sledding area in winter.
As a gift from the Dräger Foundation, the park was handed over to the city in 1977. A name stone with year number was set up on a slope.
