The park is intersected by 4 roads
The park was created 1926-1931 by the garden architect Franz Mengel in connection with the construction of the Gartenvorstadt Gesundbrunnen. In the 1970s and in 2001, the park was expanded in the direction of Südstadt. A nature trail, another dog meadow and numerous path connections were created.
