The green area between the Kiel Scholars School and the Radiooncological Center
The renaming, the hitherto nameless green space, was decided on 18 November 1999 by the Kiel council. At that time, the parking area extended from the scholar's school to the naval aisle, which led to Feldstrasse in the extension of Schauenburgerstraße. In 2009, three quarters of the old parking area in the northern part was built with the Karl-Lennert-Cancer Center North of the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein.
