Visitors to the park can enjoy a view of the city on a viewing platform
In winter, the mountain is used for sledding in the otherwise topographically rather flat Braunschweig. In the area behind the viewing platform, jumps and ramps for mountain bikers have been created. In addition, events for kite flying are held on the slopes of the Franzschen Feld in autumn.
