Castle Park in Munchengladbach
The open spaces around Rheydt Castle are different from parks of comparable castles, as they are neither landscaped gardens nor landscaped. The historic environment has been preserved, the outdoor facilities restored and integrated into the concept. Parts of old avenues can still be admired today around Rheydt Castle, for example the remains of what is probably the oldest lime tree avenue from the late 16th century.
