One of the city's most popular public parks
The historic green area already exists in 1890 and has grown steadily over the last 125 years. You can find out more about the history here.
The size of the park is about 30 hectares. The facility is subdivided into three subregions or districts - Kaiserpark, Bunter Garten and Botanischer Garten. Under the button "Garden Plans" you get an overview of the colorful garden with plans to print.
Of course, the park offers other attractions such as a children's playground, the bird aviary with over 200 animals (on the Bettrather road) and many other recreational opportunities.
