The Princess Josephine Charlottepark was built in 1952 along the banks of the Durme in the Lokeren city center. There are various images to be seen: Roger Bracke's “Girl on the waterfront”, Jos De Decker's fountain with sculpture group and Paul van Gysegem's “All the things” assembly. The rich Loker tradition traditionally makes (last Sunday of May) use of this beautiful backdrop for the Park Theater festival.
