A central wooden meeting place is the perfect place for a picnic with a beautiful view. The principles of harmonic park and green management were used as a touchstone for designing, future management and participation. The focus in the entire park is on a natural look. Pavements are limited to a strict minimum.
Walking loops in eight form (sometimes hardened, sometimes made of grass) meander through the park and connect the northern with southern part. These hiking trails are surrounded by flowery grasslands and permanent plant borders with mowing paths. The main hiking trails consist of cement concrete paving that, thanks to its smooth surface, also feels pleasant for wheelchair users and visitors with prams. All borders are made of weather-resistant steel.
The paved surfaces drain into the nearby planting areas or in an elongated wadi. This wet place gives room to moisture-loving vegetation and gives an extra dimension to the game experience of the park. Along the wadi is a willow-playing grove with romp-resistant plants. The gray-leaved pollard willows provide a nice leaf contrast with the other vegetation. At a later age, these native trees with their gnarled shape give the park an extra dimension. In addition, a varied assortment of fragrant, blossoming, sometimes multi-trunk trees forms a visual buffer to the surrounding houses.
The plant choice of the herb and shrub layer is side-friendly and ensures that you can experience nature in a different way throughout the year. Inflorescences, colors and growth forms alternate and provide a fascinating and educational environment. Thanks to this variation in structure, breathing space is also guaranteed for a rich urban fauna.
