A park in Wiesbaden
English landscape gardens also served as models for the design of the Wiesbaden Nerotal facilities. The park, which begins at the end of the Taunusstraße and ends after just under a kilometer at the viaduct of the Nerobergbahn, was built in the years 1897 to 1898. Once completed, nearly 6,000 plants from all over the world graced the approximately six-hectare site, which was therefore often referred to as the "botanical garden" in the vernacular.
