The upper, larger area lies between Mainzerstraße and Nibelungenstraße. A generous meadow area, which is articulated by a curved path, is the space-defining element. In the middle of the meadow are magnificent exotic and native solitary trees, some of which date from the time of the garden's origin.
Near the street below the villa (geographically in the west of the area) there is a cube, monument or simply a romantic element within an imposing group of trees, as they are often found in the landscaped gardens of that time as a stylistic device. Under another group of trees are eight fragments of ionic columns.
