Offers an impressive view
The Kaiser Wilhelm Grove in Wuppertal-Elberfeld is a forest area on Dorrenberg. He was equipped in 1896 by the Elberfelder beautification club park-like with paths and supervised. It is named after Wilhelm I, who was German Emperor from 1871 to 1888.
After the dissolution of the association, the forest became the property of the city of Wuppertal. In the course of time, the area shrank due to building and the establishment of allotment gardens on the southern slopes, so that today the forest has an area of approximately 11.7 hectares.
