A forest with a park-like structure
Especially in the center of the grove is flooded with light. Between the tall trunks of old beech trees, the view glides over grassy ground and dark, glistening Ilex bushes. A small valley with bridges and ponds follows. A memorial stone commemorates the Elberfeld Beautification Association, which founded the facility in 1879. His longtime chairman Freiherr von der Heydt and his wife Selma go back the stone signposts, the cottage "Sans-Souci" and the "Norwegian wooden house".
