Park with numerous native and partly exotic plants
The Wuppertal Botanical Garden is located in the middle of the city on the western foothills of the park area of Hardt. It lies at an altitude between 195 and 220 meters above sea level and thus about 90 meters above the valley of the Wupper. The actual grounds of the garden have a length of about 230 meters and a width of 70 meters. On the grounds are the at least partially accessible building of the Eller mansion with the Orangerie and the Elisenturm.
